Our Therapists

Chris Petersen, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

One of Chris’s favorite things about his work is the interactions and relationships he builds with his patients. He takes the time to get to know his patients, their lifestyle and priorities, as well as their goals for treatment in order to design a highly individualized program to help them regain and improve their quality of life.

Chris has been practicing in the Fremont area since 2007 and has strong ties to the community. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is an active member of the Waterloo Fire Department.

Chris is a proud graduate of Elkhorn Mount Michael High School (2001) and Creighton University (2007). Chris lives in Valley, Nebraska with his wife Erin who works in radiology and his two sons, 8-year old Brody and 6-month old Rigley.

Growing up, Chris always had a keen interest in why the human body operates in the manner it does. He loved anatomy and during his studies at Creighton University, he quickly realized studying the movements and operations of the human body was his passion.
